A compilation that brings together Hotline Miami and its sequel, Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number, two top-down action games set in an alternate late-’80s Miami with a neon aesthetic. You receive jobs over the phone and enter buildings full of mobsters to take them all out, using firearms, melee weapons, and hand-to-hand attacks. Any hit is fatal, so each level requires planning your route and repeating it many times. The second game follows several characters and factions in a story of violence and revenge.
