Insert Coin Collection is a personal collection of physical video games, displayed as exactly what it is: a shelf. Every box has been photographed from all six sides and rebuilt in 3D, so you can turn it around and look it over as if it were in your hands: the spine, the back of the box, even the price stickers from back in the day.
The shelf already holds big box PC games from the ’90s—the cardboard big boxes for Quake, Diablo II, Resident Evil, Blood, and Gobliiins, several of them Spanish editions—along with physical Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 games, including limited runs from Limited Run Games and Super Rare Games, and Magic: The Gathering Secret Lair drops. The collection itself is a good deal bigger, though, and the rest will show up as each piece gets built in 3D: games for NES, Nintendo 64, Game Boy, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, Wii, and Wii U; for PlayStation 2, 3, 4, and 5; plus consoles, Digimon, and a bit of merch.
Every piece has its own page with the year, developer, publisher, format, box languages, and photos of what’s inside. This isn’t a store, and it isn’t a catalog of everything ever released: it’s what’s actually at home, one piece at a time. The collection grows every week, as each new box gets built in 3D.
