A third-person survival horror game set in Raccoon City, a Midwestern American city whose residents have turned into zombies. You play as rookie cop Leon S. Kennedy or college student Claire Redfield, making your way through the police station and other locations seen through fixed camera angles while you solve puzzles, ration the scarce ammo and items you find, and face mutated creatures. Each character has their own route, and the story changes depending on the order you play them in. The PC version adds a gallery with videos, sketches, and illustrations.
